I am a Ph.D. Economist and a Professor of Finance at Stockton University in New Jersey, USA. I have been writing opinion columns for more than 40 years. My views are always centered around the priciples that I believe allowed this country to go from the birth of a nation to the largest and most prosperious economy in about 150 years. The prosperity led to security and a high standard of living. Those priciples include 1) encouraging individual freedom, 2) encouraging individual responsibility, 3) having low tates of taxation and 4) a limited role for government.
